I never thought I would say that, but today's workout was a lot of lower body work, and thanks to years of supporting my massive frame, I easily made it through. Well, except for the push ups, dammit. They will be the death of me. Luckily there were only 3 this time, but they were "Extreme", which basically means that you do them in super slow motion. I did them on my knees, but I did them. When evaluating my goals for this program, I think more than weight loss, more than toning, I want to be able to knowck out some push ups. Real ones. On my toes. So, that's what I'm shooting for. And, if I meet that goal of being able to do 10 or more, I'll be doing them everywhere just to show off- the grocery store, the playground, the library. If you think that's bad, don't let me get a tight little body, or I'll also be naked in all those places.
In addition to the ChaLean workout, I also got up at 5:30 am again and walk/jogged 2.3 miles. I officially signed up for the 5k with Trevor in 2 weeks, so I have a lot of work to do between now and then.
