Dear Seiglers:
We've been through a lot together. You so kindly took me in when I was a little over a year old, rescuing me from being tossed aside by a family with a new baby. I've been a faithful companion, patiently allowing each of your children to tug on my fur, step on my tail, and chase me around the house. I've sat idle while you continue your attempts to single-handedly repopulate the Earth. I thought we had an understanding that once the kids got older, I would have your undivided attention and would become the lap companion I've always desired to be.
So, I'm forced to ask "why?". Why would you do this to me? Not only did you bring in another living, breathing creature into our already over crowded abode, but you brought in a dog. And, a hyper one at that. Please consider this my notice that I will be seeking employment elsewhere as a house cat. I will be packing my litter box and food dish and moving on........as soon as I wake up from my nap.
