Sophie-

You may notice that your monthly letter is a couple of days late.  This is because I'm tired. So tired.  Too tired to write, usually.  Also, my evenings have been consumed trying to find the best deals for you, your sister, and your brother for Christmas.  Of course, Santa will receive all the credit for my hard work.

Back to the tired part.  This is, in large part, due to the fact that you are STILL not sleeping through the night.  I mean Come On!  You're quickly coming up on a year, and you're still waking up like an infant.  Sadly, it's about the only baby part of you left.

You're quickly approaching toddlerhood, too quick for my taste.  You crawl and pull up like a pro and have started standing up without holding onto anything, which is something your father keeps encouraging, much to my dismay.  You're not really talking, yet.  Mostly babbles and da das.  Dads get all the glory.

Im so proud of how indepedent you've become.  When not attempting to manipulate me into carrying you around, you are usually exploring on your own.  The other night, while I was helping Trevor with a school project, you entertained yourself by crawling throughout the house and playing with your toys.  I panicked when I couldn't find you, but as I rounded the corner toward your room, I was greeted with this scene:

Some other pics because you're so darn cute:

And to prove to Grandma that we do appreciate the clothes she buys:
